1. Time and place. XXVI SELL Games - Tartu Student Games 2010 (Games) will take place in Tartu from May 21 to May 23, 2010. Arrival in Tartu on May 20. Technical meetings will take place on May 20 with the beginning at 18.00 and later.
2. Organiser. The organizer (OC) of the Games is Estonian Academic Sports Federation (24, Lai Street, 51005 Tartu ph +372 7 333 233, fax +372 7 333 233, e-mail info@sellstudentgames.com)
3. Program. There will be competitions in 11 different sports: ATHLETICS, TABLE-TENNIS, BASKETBALL, CHESS, FLOORBALL, JUDO, MINI-FOOTBALL, SWIMMING, VOLLEYBALL, WRESTLING, POWER LIFTING.
4. Participants. Delegations of universities or similar institutions are expected to participate. Competitions are open for students and former students who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in 2009. In team sport events a team must consist of students or former students of one and the same higher educational institution.
The individual dossier for participants to be presented during accreditation must include:
1) a valid student card or a copy of his/her final academic degree or diploma, issued in 2009 (only competitors);
2) an identity card - passport, ID or driving license (all participants).
5. Size of delegation. There are no limitations concerning the size of the delegation. Maximal number of participants in every sport event is determined by regulations of that specific sport event.
6. Participation package. The participation package includes: right to take part in competitions, catering three times a day (one day is counted from 12.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m., next day), floor lodging in personal sleeping bag on personal mattress, entrance to all competitions, cultural activities and parties of the Games.
Accommodation in hostels or hotels is possible for additional compensation, but the number of rooms is limited.
Upon registration before April 21, 2010 (incl.) the costs of participation are 25 EUR per day per person. Upon registration after April 21 the costs of participation will be 30 EUR per day per person.
There is also a one time registration fee 5 € for one person. This does not apply to so called SELL countries (Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania).
7. Registration and compensation of participation costs. Takes place in Estonian Academic Sports Federation (24, Lai Street, Tartu, Estonia), in internet (www.sellstudentgames.com) or by fax (+372 7 333 233), considering the following deadlines:
1. January 15, 2010 – General registration, including booking of hostel/hotel rooms, if necessary;
2. February 21, 2010 – Quantitative registration, including transferring of 25% of the compensation of participation costs (and 50% of the compensation of costs of hostel / hotel accommodation– to whom it concerns);
3. April 21, 2010 - Nominative registration, including sending of travelling form.
Expenses of the transfer must be paid by remitter.
The rest of the compensation of participation costs (75%) may be paid in cash on arrival to Tartu, but preferably by bank transfer before arrival.

8. Transport. The participants will be responsible for their travel to Tartu and return. Organisers will help to arrange transport from Tallinn to Tartu and return on the request and cost of the delegations. Tartu lies at the distance of 185 km from the capital of Estonia, Tallinn and 250 km from the capital of Riga, Latvia. There are both international airport and port in Tallinn. It takes about 2,5 hours to travel to Tartu by bus or train from Tallinn. Completed travelling forms should be sent to the OC together with nominative entry forms by April 21.
9. Awards. The first three in all events will be awarded with medals and diplomas. The best teams of the sports games (basketball, volleyball, mini-football, floorball) will be awarded with cups.
10. Insurance and medical service. All participants must have appropriate medical and travel insurance to cover for any medical expenses, as the Organising Committee is not responsible for this. The organisers will insure first aid at the competition venues for all the accredited persons. Accredited persons from European Union countries who bring with them the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), valid for the period of their stay, will have the same treatment as provided to Estonian citizens. It is important that the participants have the EHIC and travel insurance with them.
